What?? Have I lost my mind??
Nope, but I did see this, and I really liked it!!
Pixie Pink for the card base, with white, Pacific Point Blue, Summer Sun and Gable Green accents.
The deer is a Martha Punch - the other punch is that Marvy Tree Punch I had to stand on to punch with it the first time I used it.. It's not the most user friendly.
The leftmost tree is the actual shape it punches - the right one is hand trimmed to make it look a little different.
Then a little glue & dazzling diamonds glitter for the snow and BAM - a pink Christmas!
Try a different color combo if I can have blue pumpkins then I don't think a pink Christmas is out of order!! :)
Love it! I am sure that the resident 4-year old will ask, "Mommy, do you have the stuff to make that card?".
ReplyDeleteI refuse to use punches I have to stand on to get them to punch. If it does not have a thumb lever, it will not land in my collection. So kudos to you for even buying it! :-)
ReplyDeleteI love non-traditional colors for holidays. Way to go!
I like to use different colors for holiday cards too!!! I think it makes it stand out more or at least people take a second look.

I personally almost always make non tradional Christmas cards as I am just red and greened out. Hot pink is my favorite color, so I love your card. I can't send out pink cards from me & DH so my cards are usually a more monocramatic or masculine color pallete.
ReplyDeleteYou rock!
Aaahhhh...now that's definite my style...lol. I love a bit of pink...ok, a lot of pink and some purple too! There you go...maybe you need to make some purple Christmas cards too....it's pretty close to blue, right?
ReplyDeleteLydia,
ReplyDeleteOk, I will admit that I am an old fashioned christmas kind of girl, but I also must say that I LOVE THIS CARD! This is too darn cute! I hope Martha appreciates all of the great advertising you are giving her on your blog, because now I have got to have that deer punch. Now let me just check my purse for coins..... haha
