I wish I had had time for more challenges on this weekend's World Cardmaking Day celebration on Splitcoast. I only did two, but they were really fun.
This one was for a pink, black and BLING challenge. Doesn't this make you want to sit on your couch and catch up on your blog hopping in a sassy rhinestoney pink skirt??
Stamps: Who's that E-Girl (MFT) Paper: Kaleidascope DSP, Basic Black (SU!) Ink: White Craft, Basic Black Accessories: SU! flower, rhinestone brad, Self adhesive Rhinestones, colored pencils, Pirouette Pink, Basic Black Ribbon
Well, then I have some good news!
I'm having a Google Reader Webinar! For $5, in 45 minutes, I will teach you to organize, catalog and retrieve thousands of your favorite blog posts and card ideas without ever saving a thing to your hard drive! You can organize the entire internet by keywords you choose!
The likely date for the webinar is October 17 at 6 PM Central, but this may changed based on the schedules of the people attending! I will coordinate schedules after everyone has registered!
Sign up in my right sidebar at the top.
See you soon! :)
Have you signed up for the UBlue Cyber Club? Attended one of my Webinars?? Come on - get your geek on! :)
I feel like I've been neglecting Project Reanimate. I have even posted some reanimated projects over here out of.. well, laziness.
So I am happy to bring you a Project Reanimate card today! :)
But first, some housekeeping..
I have some Blogger students lined up for my next Webinar. I will be taking my birthday week off from webinar-ing, so how does September 10th sound?
If you are new here, I teach webinars on a variety of topics and here's how they work:
Blogger Webinars ($20) - they start at 6 for beginners, 6:30 for people who have blogged but want to spiff up. They cover step by step from setting up a blog, to analyzing traffic, adding HTML tricks and background images.
Google Reader ($5) - I teach you how to set up an "inbox" for all your favorite blogs and websites, where you can read all their content from one place, and have it forever accessible by keywords YOU choose - like stamp sets, topics or colors! This will save you hours each week visiting all the websites you love, and let you get rid of all those pesky email subscriptions.
Blog headers - Special pricing on blog headers for people who take my webinars. For a peek at some of the ones I've designed, not to mention the one I did for Martha Stewart Crafts - click here.
Anyone who takes my webinars can sit in on the same class forever for FREE - so you don't have to worry about needing a brush up - you are welcome any time!
I will do a blogger one on the 10th, and you can sign up in my sidebar. When people register, I schedule, so register if you'd like to take one and I will contact you with instructions.
Okay - that's enough shameless self promotion. Ready for art??
Click the pic for a reanimation. Loveyameanitbye.

Like I'm running around like a little blue squirrel, burying things, trying to remember where they are and come back to them.
My Google Task list (which I LOVE, btw), it overfloweth. My inbox runneth over.
When things get that way, my cards get simple. And I kinda like it. How about that sassy woodgrain stamp from the new catalog?? Huh? You want it, don't cha? I like how it's a clean, modern version, and not rustic. It made me think of Martha's beautiful faux bois projects.
I love it in white on blue. I would love it in blue on white. :)
The little blue squirrel is from Animal Crackers. PS - on images where the greeting and the image are together, I always cut them apart so that I can use the images by themselves. Don't forget you can always customize your stamps before you mount them!
A few little events you might want to know about:
The starter kit is on sale for $85!! If you want to join the Understand Blue group of demonstrators, now is the time!! Welcome to Cara Chatfield, the first to take advantage of this special in my group.

So since it's so late, I'll give you through Tuesday to make me laugh!!
This weekend was crazy. We competed in the 48 hour film festival, which goes on all over the country. You show up Friday night and draw a genre from a hat. We got horror which was perfect. You then have to script, film and edit a movie that's between 4 minutes and 7 minutes long and turn it in at the 48 hour mark. It was exhausting, but turned out really cool. Forget about my brother driving up 5 minutes before it was do and flinging a flash drive out of the car at my niece.. Or us breaking my sister's house by getting a huge piece of furniture stuck in a hallway so we had to walk outside to go to the other side of the house. Forget all that - it was cool.
They are showing our movie tomorrow night and Thursday night in a theater. Winners are chosen from each city and some of the winners get to go to the Cannes Film festival!!
I can post it after we've done a few things in the rules.
In the meantime, I do have a video you can watch. It's my instructional video on how to use Twitter, related applications - everything you need to know to tweet!
Not really. I just have three things to tell you. I want to post a card today, but tonight is the finale ofSo I have to walk, make a card, drink like 10 espressos so I can stay up for it - there's a lot to do!! But I have an idea for one I hope I can post after work.
But I wanted to have something exciting for you to look at, so check THIS out!!! I have Sassy Maddie Shirts!!!Shirts, aprons, bags, all sorts of fun stuff is in my shop.
She looks super cute on a shirt.
Don't forget to order her stamp to benefit Bernie Berlin's cat shelter either. Not only will the first 20 that send me their order get some hand stamped Maddie cards from me, but I may do a drawing of ALL the orders that are sent to me for a cute Maddie Shirt.
Finally - don't forget - my Google Reader Webinar is tomorrow at 6 PM Central time. If you haven't registered yet, please do so in my sidebar. You will get an email tomorrow with login instructions. This will last abou 45 minutes and teach you how to organize all the blogs you read, retrieve their content by keyword and REDUCE the time you spend surfing the net!
Don't forget to watch my Smack Talking Momma video (see sidebar) which is a free class on Mindbites until June 1 - and then vote for me in the contest if you like it! Feel free to make fun of my accent while you're at it! I had no idea I had one!
Losties - EEK! :) Can't wait to see what happens!!
Have you signed up for the UBlue Cyber Club? Attended one of my Webinars?? Come on - get your geek on! :)
I don't mean whenever you want me to make you a card or bring you Maddie & Splotch to snuggle, then POOF - you get your wish. Although - if I had that power, I'd sure as heck do it!!!
I mean all of you who are in far away lands and had a hard time attending my Google Reader webinars can now download the webinar and watch it whenever you want!!
Oh, and I took this picture the other day and think it's kind of cool. I was eating one of God's many gifts to Texas - a Ruby Red grapefruit from the valley. It tasted even better than it looked. Oh you just wait to see what I've made WITH MY NEW STUFF FROM THE OCCASIONS MINI - OMG JUST WAIT!!
Happy Thursday!
PS - if you want to see what I do for a living - go check out our newest product. I've been having so much fun working on this.

I know you're going to skip everything and go right to the free $856 billion dollars, but here I go anyway.
1) My Favorite Girl Scout cookie is the Thin Mint. I think it's awfully convenient that the GSA puts them a single serving to a box! Thanks Girl Scouts!! It's the perfect amount - two sleeves of thin mints. :) I will say, my other fave they don't make anymore. It was the shortbread cookie with a lemon cream filling that I could eat until I couldn't feel my tongue anymore. I'm very sad those are gone.
2) My Google Reader Webinar is tonight at 7 PM CST. If you are already registered and paid, you just received an email from me. If you are registered and paid but DIDN'T receive an email from me, please email me. If you're not registered yet and would like to join us, I'd love to spend 45 minutes with you teaching you how to organize all your favorite blogs in Google Reader, retrieve them by keywords FOREVER, and never have another email blog subscription again! Check my sidebar to register.
3) My blogger webinar is on the horizon also - and I would like to try Sunday, Feb. 22 at 7 PM CST - does this work for everyone? If you are registered, please let me know if this is okay - there are a variety of time zones involved.
4) Now, since the word on the street is that we all have billions of dollars just waiting to be flung around like confetti according to our friends in Washington, I'd like to offer another $856 BILLION dollars to the first person who can do the following:
Write a new programming language.
If you are like me, and you like to hack around in your blog and change your HTML code to do various things, you know that the HTML code for making something red looks like this:
#$%@& - #ff00044 N902)) ?><:{}|| #*&$^
I think you know what I'm going to say next.
THAT'S STUPID.
If Kydia invented her own programming language, here's how you would make something red:
Make it red
Is that such a leap of the imagination?
What freaks were sitting around with a few cans of Tab, some gummi bears and their bellbottoms on going "Okay, if I want to make something red, how can I obscure my desired result to the point that even the NSA would not know that what I in fact wanted was to make something red?? Oh, I know, I'll sit on my keyboard, and whatever my butt types, that will be my code for making things red. Muaaahhhaaaaaaaaa."
Yeah, I'm done with the butt code. $856 billion of grateful consumer blogger dollars await the brilliant Generation Next kids that come up with code we can use.
Thanks next generation!!
Speaking of butts, my sister calls me with her butt all the time. Even though she has a lock on her blackberry, I think her butt knows her password because I get these calls all the time.
Today they made an ad about her.
