My bud Jenn asked for more of these, so here is one. Maybe you've done it. Since scallops are all the rage, they showed us many ways to achieve a scalloped look regardless of your original shape. Here I've cut an oval with my Coluzzle. Then I punched out circles, applied adhesive to the back of the oval, and attached the punched circles from behind, creating a colorful scalloped border. Nice to be back home with my stamps! =)
I'm going to post this in the Dirty Dare gallery under the blue & green animals challenge on SCS.
wonderful trick, and cost-effective too! have to go play and figure that one out...tfs! what size circle punch was that? 1/2"? what all did you order while at convention, and what was the special deal for doing so?
ReplyDeleteThat one was 1/2". They did them with several sizes, but I think the smaller ones look better.
ReplyDeleteNow look - no one needs to know what I ORDERED! EEK!! However, there were two specials that I was not too immodest on unlike on my holiday mini cat + gotta have it now that I've seen it rest of my order.. =) The palette of prints - 6X6 was one of the specials - I ordered those. Then pomegranate die cut boxes (we used them at the M&T and I thought they were hard to use, so I didn't order them) and then the on board blossoms chipboard sets, which we used and I loved. They were only available at convention or while supplies lasted, but if there are some left (which I'm sure there will be) I think they are offering them to everyone. The chipboard was the best. I didn't used to be a fan, but I am.
Okay, I know you have more than one "Bud", but I am jealous of Jenn. Did you get to hang out with her at convention? Are you sending her cards that you are not sending me? Waaaah!
ReplyDeleteOkay, I'm through being a baby. Your cards are seriously SO beautiful that I think I'm going to add you to my list of Stamping Goddesses. Love everything!
