Remember way back when dinosaurs roamed the earth, and we were all in a time BC - Before Catalog - and I told you that I loved the new Asian stuff they had in there?
Well this message is brought to you by I WAS NOT LYING. I LOVE IT.
Especially this set, which is called Dream Gardens. It has this gorgeous teapot in it that I can't wait to use!!
So tonight I sat down to make a blue and white card with the teapot and the border, and then David Duchovny showed up, I saw a bright light, I lost 12 minutes on my watch, and I wound up here.
Well, my skin is glowing, but really, other than that I'm fine.
Hey - if you are in Austin, consider voting for me for Best Local Blog & Best Local Blogger in our Austin Chronicle poll! I'm in the Media section.
Have you signed up for the UBlue Cyber Club? Attended one of my Webinars?? Come on - get your geek on! :)
Want to see my other blog?
LOL! I hate when this happens, but I love your card. And FYI: *I* made a blue tree. :-)
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! I voted for you yesterday...along with several of my other favorite places around town.
ReplyDeleteI am getting excited...Mr. Brown is due at my house tomorrow! Can't wait to get my hands on my new goodies.
See you soon!
Nice vector work. You are too good. :)
ReplyDeleteI thought the post title referred to some excitement about something that will hopefully happen next Summer...
ReplyDeleteSue in BC!!! ;-)
Lydia,
ReplyDeleteWhat an elegant card, very pretty!
Hugs,
Lisa Atha
I like this set also but didn't order it right away. Just got new goodies last Monday and wish David would show up over here to help me with mojo. And to help you with clicking on your pics. to make them bigger;) I am having problems with my eyes and can't see very well- I have to enlarge everything! It'll get better once I get those new contact lenses.
ReplyDeleteDid you cut out the image of the Asian girl?
I used to live in Japan and have several Asian items in my home. When i first saw this card I went to look at my signed print (1956) of the "Girl with the Sun". It sorta inspired me and now I want that set really bad.
Great job Kydia (well, from what I can see- I am sooooo old.....and.....blind)!
WV: doesy
I like David Duchovny- doesy come with an instruction manual?
I'm loving this stamp set and your cards simplicity reflects and showcases the style perfectly. You and the aliens have obviously hit a few tea gardens enroute - Hah!
ReplyDeleteSaw this on Mindbites and am still shocked they didn't show you, the kitties and your studio as one of the Austin happening spots. Someone obviously didn't get the memo! - http://www.mindbites.com/lesson/490-how-to-be-a-local-in-austin-tx
Hugs and blessings - Jean
