Rooster - it's what's for dinner!!


Actually, a Santa Fe Salad with Blackened Chicken, but close. This Rooster is for the Inspiration Challenge tonight.

So I took my "chicken", blackened him with Basic Black, and served him on a bed of Riding Hood and Basic Grey. I garnished him with some of my new Faber Castell Pitt Pastel Pencils which I LOVE - more after dinner - and some grey taffeta ribbon and homemade hole reinforcers, which I made with my 1/8" handheld punch and my 1/4" circle punch. The whole "dish" is Provencal - a retired hostess set.




This red is lovely.

Anybody hungry? I am - headed out for that salad!!

    i'm likin' what i'm seein' of that riding hood red!

    dinner here was homemade sausage pizza. 2 kinds of crust--white and whole wheat. ww was better...
