Today's technique started with an idea from my friend MariLynn, as you'll see in the video. But because of an accident, it turned into two totally different techniques/results. Both are very fun, and this process actually helped me solve a Gel Press puzzle my sister and I have been working on for nearly a year so wahoo! I'll try that one soon.
In the meantime, before the video, the cards!
This first card is actually the result of an accidental step in the first technique and I love it. You won't believe how this was created.
The products I used here were this wildflower stamp set, this funky poinsettia stencil, Liquitex Basics White Paint, Indian Yellow Golden Open paint, Staz-On, Phthalo Blue Green Shade Open Acrylic, my 5x7 Gel Press, and this hello die - best $5 I've ever spent..
For this fun card with the original technique MariLynn taught me, I used this turquoise Archival ink, white paint, Indian Yellow, Quin Magenta Open Acrylics and this fun fluorescent paint. The die is from this set. This gorgeous ginormous peony is this single background stamp. Believe it or not, both of these use the same process with one difference - the clock.
So enjoy the video, along with all the other prints I created during this session! And some meowing cats!
Stay tuned below the video for a life-altering discovery I made after suffering my whole life! Seriously!

Okay - so I have misophonia, and so using packing tape KILLS me - it's so freaking loud!! I use a tape gun a LOT, and so this is a constant terror in my life.
I have tried a lot of the so-called silent tapes and none have worked. Until now.
I almost cried when I used THIS TAPE! It's actually silent tape. And it does not appear to be any less awesome than screechy tape! So go forth and save your ears!
Loveyameanitbye.
Gorgeous!
