I really like hanging out in my own nearby universe the best. Quiet environments with my favorite humans.
So I was thrilled that Nicole came out with a sentiment expressing my feels. :)
I took her fun retro stencil and used Life Changing Blender Brushes to apply Key Lime, Sweet Mango and Wild Dandelion ink for a quick snarky card for your fellow homebodies.
On Wednesay and Friday I'm going to have two posts featuring the amazing new brush markers I'm in love with. They blend like no others. I can't stop using them . I think half my posts this month are using them, so buckle up!
Picket Fence Studios has two fun companion stamps out today - this ginormous dahlia bouquet, and its mini-me in a 4x4 background - so fun. I colored the background only of the mini version with the markers and then paired it with her new layering word die.
Speaking of the markers - one of the reasons I love them is they are SO saturated and vibrant! I colored this adorable new chameleon named Charlie using them with tip to tip blending. I drew in the stick with Copic and created shadows under my crickets. The sentiment is hilarious. Charlie does have coordinating dies. The next card makes me happy! I'm always working on coloring hair, and this series of stamps make me happy and they make me practice. I stamped this bun stamp and colored it with Copics before cutting it with the coordinating dies. Then I used the ring of flowers stencil, Innocent Pink ink and Life Changing Blender Brushes to create a soft and feminine backdrop. The sentiment is awesome and is from this stamp set.
And one more girl before I go. This sweet ballerina stamp set is going to be so fun for watercolor, but today I colored her with Copics and cut her out with the matching dies. Then I used my Foil Press with this dots foiling die (full card front size) and this holographic hot foil in my Gemini to create the background. I die cut it into a circle to spotlight her and that was that! The dots die and the machines are on sale right now too. (If you want to know more about hot foiling and how it's different from toner foiling, see my blog post from September 30th.)
There are more Picket Fence goodies out today - so you can see all the goodness here. The supplies I used today are listed below.

These are all awesome, but the older I get the more I can relate to the first one! Great cards!!!
ReplyDeleteAmazing post! The chameleon 😍 is beautifully colored!
ReplyDeleteYou introduced me to the "peopley" phrase years ago, and I love it! How fun to see it here. ♥
ReplyDelete"It's peopley out there" Link is not working, will you still get credit, I can wait. I LOVE #staywierd, LOL . Great cards!
ReplyDeleteI just got a book called "Sorry I'm Late, I didn't want to come: One Introvert's Year of Saying Yes." As an introvert who does not like those peopley situations, I'm not convinced I'm going to start saying "yes" yet :)
