Hi friends! I have SO many cards for you today because the new Hero Arts catalog is out! I made these in June for the catalog and have been dying to show you these! I won't go into a TON of detail on each card because I will have videos coming up on several of these, as well as lives, but I do want to give you a tour of my favorite things. I've also put these into a quick video. FIRSTLY - let's talk about critters! This critter bundle with adorable little animals is so sweet. On this first card, I paired the little fox with the beautiful new birch stencil.
I'm pretty sure you knew I was going to have to watercolor these too! I did a fun background technique on this one that I'll show on a live - but how cute are these guys??
I would have REVOLTED if there wasn't some adorable Halloween stuff, and they came through! These super cute peg dolls were so much fun I had a hard time shifting gears to Christmas! I used the new brick stencil in the background and colored the vampire with OLO Markers. (Discount below).
I made a little grouping of the dolls here, and then masked and ink blended around them, creating a spooky green miasma! Muahahahah!
They don't have to be spooky though - look how sweet this one is for fall cards! I added the new grateful die, and did a little faux tearing with the zig zag bold print!
It's my birthday today, and Hero Arts gave me a big present in the Little Buddy set, which was inspired by my very own Clarence!! Since I always call him my little buddy, they named this ADORABLE stamp set after him! I colored him with pencil and I love him so much!
You can use the Little Buddy with the branch in his stamp set, OR on this gorgeous larger branch die. I have a video coming up on watercoloring this branch next week on the Hero Arts blog so stay tuned for that! The sentiment is from this set of dies.
I LOVE this ultra modern graphic background stamp. I'll show you how I made this card on the next Crafty Hour on the Hero Arts page - it's very easy and fun. This beautiful modern stamp set has a die AND a foiling die!
This GORGEOUS little finch set cried out for colored pencil! I had so much fun doing this. The sentiment is like the Merry Christmas one - it has a die and a foiling die!
You don't even need a calendar when I'm around, because it's officially fall when I make blue pumpkins! This stamp set has a shading stencil, which is what I used here.
There's also a bold, graphic holly berry die. To make this card, I stamped the sentiment on cardstock, and then die cut through it. On the die cut piece, I used OLO Markers and then pieced it back in. So fun & easy - it's like a flat eclipse :).
