My neighbor just had a baby and so I thought I would video the process of making her card. I've been on a bit of a die cut coloring tear lately, and these beautiful classic baby dies were just perfect for the dimensional scene I wanted to make.
I decided that this scene was perfect for a very simple paper tole technique, which you will see in the video, using a mix of OLO and Graphit markers and colored pencil. The polka dot paper is from this beautiful collection of very pale patterns.
Some days I still can't believe we have personal die cutting machines - since I was cardmaking long before that it still feels new - and the little deboss details on these dies that get picked up by the colored pencil are just miraculous.
