Not crafting of course. I'm not a monster. I vow to do MORE crafting next year.
And more META crafting too - crafting craft-themed crafts.
That's why I think today's Hero Arts kit is going to sell out fast. It's crafty and adorable!
The main kit has a ton of crafty images and sentiments, matching dies, purple glitter and purple washi tape and some mini clothespins.
The add-ons are all craft-themed too. One of my personal faves is this amazing craft border die. I used it to cut a Gel Press print, and accented it with a white gel pen. Then in the opening it created, I stamped the image/sentiment combo from this stamp set - they all have big scripty fonts like this.
Another cool add-on this month is these woodgrain layering frame dies. I used them to frame a picture of the kitty from this stamp set, and then I had the little girl from the set sitting in front of the picture of her sweet kitty. The other kitties in the set (which you can see below) are equally adorable!! It's all about knitting. They are colored with Copics.
I couldn't stop cutting frames, so next, I used the stamps and dies from the main kit to watercolor the items in this frame. The background is stamped with this background set. The sentiment is from the main kit. That's what we all do, right?
And, also with the main kit, I indulged my inner child with a scratch art card. I used this awesome scratch art paper from Arteza - it comes in this fun rainbow design, but ALSO gold, which you'll see in my video on Thursday. (You can get 10% off the whole store with my coupon here: UnderstandBlue4) So I stamped the paintbrush in Staz-On pigment ink and then got to scratching! The sentiment and paintbrush are from the main kit.
So here's the main kit - look at the little envelope! So sweet.
And here are all the add-ons - if you like them all, you can get them in a bundle here.Isn't that fun? Everything I've used is linked below. You should probably not procrastinate on the kit. It will be a hit!
