I TOLD you I was not done with Halloween, and it was up to you to believe me or not, but if you didn't believe me, you're going to be pretty embarassed today!
We are having an unseasonable cool spell which is enhancing my spooky feels.
I wanted to share a super fun Gel Press technique I call backfilling. It lets you get a layered print with a stencil with a single pull.
I used it with zombie stencils for a print that I have matted and framed in my craft room - I just love it - it has a Thriller Vibe.
Here's the video for this, and the second print is below!

Using that same technique, I created this print with this stencil, which I will probably use in my art journal. I love this look, and I actually have a way to do this that reverses this. I'm thinking about having an online stenciling retreat in late October, so that might be a part of that if I can pull that together!
Let me know if that's something you'd be interested in!
Have a great week. Loveyameanitbye.

Once again Lydia, in your calm cool manner your gel mat video was great! I'm always learning something new. I didn't know you could dry a layer and go back and lift it after layering on a thin coat of paint! I'm going to try out this technique! Thanks again
