We usually have lots of Christmas tutorials though so I thought I'd modify it for Thanksgiving, so I did a little half pumpkin with Gel Press Prints. Isn't this cute?? For the stem, I actually had a little kraft shopping bag in my office that had that twisted handle - so I cut a piece of that and unrolled it. Then I adhered that all with Scor Tape to Desert Storm cardstock that I stamped these leaves on and splattered with this gorgeous - sorry - GOURDGEOUS - gold ink. Really simple and fun. It would be cute on a gift bag too. The sentiment is stamped in Nocturne from this set. Please note in the video - I did these Gel Press prints on this ultra smooth text weight paper, and then glued them back to back for this effect - so be sure if you're using cardstock, use a lightweight one and do your prints on both side.

ReplyDeleteLove this post! Good video to convey putting together the honeycomb. Have never done either gel press or honeycomb but added them to my "gotta try this list". Thanks Lydia!
