I was Skype chatting with some friends today and decided to grab the UFO pile and finish a card. This one was easy! I had watercolored this at a retreat last fall and it's been beckoning to me from the pile for a while. All I needed to do was glue it onto a card base, but the inertia of the UFO pile is strong! But today I got it done at last. 80 billion to go :).
I used
this stamp set from WPlus9, which has
matching dies. I had just bought it before the retreat so I threw it in my bag and got to play a bit. It's a cool set because you can build any grouping of flowers and leaves that you want. I love the fonts and sentiments too. Dawn is the queen of flowers, that's for sure.

ReplyDeleteHow on Earth did this beauty make it into the Pile of Doom in the first place? I’m glad you finished it today. Someone will enjoy receiving it.
ReplyDeleteHa! I just looked over at mine, it's giving me a dirty look.
ReplyDeleteAmazing what finds it's way into that pile! So glad this one floated to the top.
