I haven't done much cooking lately which is a nice break from pandemic life. We've been eating mostly out of the freezer, with the occasional soup, like my fave bean soup. It's been unseasonably cool lately, so soup seemed like a good choice. Plus most of my bean soups are pantry soups for the most part, so that makes it easy.
One thing I'd love to learn how to cook are some Korean dishes. There's this kimchi rice from a restaurant near us that I absolutely loved and I'd love to recreate it. I also had a kimchi reduction that was made into a sauce at another restaurant I went to ages ago that I'd love to recreate! So it's a good thing my mom just bought me one of these fermentation containers - made in Korea. She says hers works great and she's been making sauerkraut in it.
Anyway - today is the Crafty Friends blog hop, so I'm here with a card, a video and a 20% off coupon for Gina K. Designs!
The card is what I call a "hidden coloring" technique - it's a way to make colored pencil work SO much faster and easier. So I hope you like it! If you like the beautiful stamp, then use my code for a discount (below). I used this Gina K splashy floral and Polychromos pencils. I used the new Mixed Media ink, because it's permanent when it's heat set and stamps beautifully on non porous surfaces, like the matte film I used. This is the layering word die I used - also Gina K. Without the technique I used, a colored pencil project like this would have taken me hours - but this is quite quick.
I love how glowy and smooth the pencils look.

Okay now speaking of the kitchen - I found a great site with US made cutlery - and I've been buying some tools one at a time from there - and had a few of them engraved with 2020 appropriate sayings. Here's the hamburger flipper I got:
The site is Dexter Russell - https://www.dexterrussellcutlery.com/
We love our bench scraper from there too.
Anyway - I have a fun coupon code for you for one of my fave stores - Gina K! You can get 20% off with this through Friday - just click the graphic to shop!
So I hope you're having a great week! If you want more inspiration, check out what my crafty friends are up to! The next stop on the hop is Jill!
Loveyameanitbye.
