But RIFFS on red and green are fine - like a sweet pink and an aqua. I also love red and aqua. But today - I wanted super happy non-traditional Christmas colors for this beautiful new holiday themed stripe set. And don't worry - there's a quick video below for how I built this. But first - the card.
This new plaids set is part of Concord & 9th's release today - and I have already made a billion cards with it. The stripes are perfectly sized for a card front, AND, I discovered, also perfectly sized for 1" Post-It tape, which you'll see in the video. I used Wild Dandelion, Bubblegum Pink and Sea Glass inks, with both ink blending with the Life Changing Blender Brushes and stamping. I pulled it all together with a pop of black, and a snowflake from this bundle, cut from the no-shed glitter paper. The sentiment is from this set. I like how it perfectly frames the little square intersection of the black stripes.

And here's the quick video.
So staying on the bright theme - I took the large snowflake from this set (this set matches the snowflake die I used above - look how they coordinated the teeny snowflake with the stamp!), and stamped it in Amalgam ink in my MISTI, and colored it with Copics. So easy and quick. Marker List: R29, RV06, YR07, YR16, Y08, YG07, G19, BG49, FB2, B79, FV2, RV09.
I layered the teeny glittery snowflake leftover from my first cut, and also added a layer of the glitter paper to the card base. The sentiment is from this set.
