Howdy friends! I have some cheerful, colorful cards today to bring a little lightness into the world. I think we could all use that right now.
I will have a video for this card set on my channel on Tuesday, so be sure you are subscribed and have the notifications on, because it will be part of a hop, and so there will be giveaways. But today, I just want to show them to you, because looking at them makes me happy. The best part is, they were made with just three ink colors.
As a person with full set syndrome, ESPECIALLY with inks, I still tend to gravitate towards my holy trinity and I wanted to show you a picture of why with these cards.
The cards on the right and left - I used the technique you'll see in the video, and then texturized it with this sweet as candy rainbow piercing cover plate. HOW I LOVE THESE COVER PLATES.
I cut that panel with this sweet rainbow pattern die set and pulled them off the die with Press & Seal to keep them in order. I used temporary adhesive to put the die cut panel onto a white card front, and then I put a dot of glue on each heart and put them into the openings to get them perfectly lined up. Then I removed the die cut panel. The sentiments on the right and left are from this set. I LOVE that there are dies for ALL the sentiments in the set.
The dies I used have a matching stamp set, another die set and even hot foil plates. You'll see the coordinating paper pack in an upcoming video - it's sweet.
The card in the center uses the same technique, but I then cut it with the daisy cover plate. I added these little pearls to one row of the daisies, and added this layering hello die.
