Hey friends! I'm here - twice in one day - to show you a simple way to alter stamps, and one of my favorites. With your normal office pen - it doesn't even have to be an arty pen, you can completely transform a stamp.
I stamped this floral in black, and then I just used my favorite pen that I use in my planner to add extra lines to this image and color them in while I watched Dateline!
Now obviously, this image is perfect for this technique, so here's what you need to look for:
- Images with enough open space to subdivide with sections you can color in
- Clean lines to match this bold accenting
- Pre-divided sections, like these leaves, that you can fill in without alteration
This set does have dies, but I chose to create a mask that I could ink blend a background with - Blue Raspberry and Wild Lilac. I've used this same combo three times this week!
The sentiment is from the same stamp set - pretty, scripty almost handwritten sentiments in this set.
