What is it about frogs that makes them such a popular collectible? I've known more than a few people in my life who collected frog things.
I love frogs - I used to catch these itty bitty frogs when my childhood buddy's mom would take us to the park and cook hamburgers and try to let us deplete our ever-charged batteries.
The only thing I collect is frog STAMPS. It's hard for me to resist a little frog - especially if he's acting like a person :).
So today, I'm bringing you three little frogs just chilling out against three mixed media skies.
These are a combination of alcohol ink and paint - an easy way to get clouds and galaxies done quickly on a gel plate! Here are my three frogs from this stamp set. I fussy cut them and then used a "tapestry hanging" layout style for them - hanging them from the top of the card to leave room for my sentiment. You can see the video below.

Love the video. Very inspiring. Laying the gelliplate over the clouds... wow!! So simple but easy and effective. Thank you so much for sharing
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed it! Do you ever stamp directily onto an acrylic gel press print? If so, which ink(s) do you prefer for opacity? Thanks.
