I'm so freaking excited to be a gel printer today OMG.
This phenomenal new collage die is going to be SMOKING from how many collages I'm going to make with my prints! EEK! It's also super easy to piece together because every shape is completely unique - I don't even think both of these took five minutes to piece. I am freaking THRILLED!
Now in real life, the vellum is way cooler than in my photo - I don't know why vellum and glitter paper are so hard to capture, but I cut this big awesome die that includes the pennant from vellum, and added the simply from the same die set in gold glitter paper.
I carried that glitter paper over to the second card that used the opposite pieces cut with this amazing die.
I discovered that this ink EXACTLY matched the Purple Twilight Alcohol Ink I used - SHAZAM and yay for me being an ink addict. This is why I tell people to buy different brands and not be obsessed with having all one brand - each ink line is unique in terms of colors, and you can mix and match and have a really full spectrum if you are willing to to have a mixed collection. So I stamped the grapes from the fruit bundle set in purple and green, and then added a little circle of glitter paper and a stripe of it under the sentiment.
The really fun thing about using gel prints for this is you can see where the patterns continue from piece to piece.

I'm having a hard time believing we are almost halfway through July!
This week snuck up on me big time - I thought I was ahead on everything before the short week and then all the sudden I was behind! SHEESH July! Please calm down and stay in the waiting area!
I'm told our torrential rains will end tomorrow and I'm all for it. I'm super tired of monsoon season (not typical here at all), but my plants sure are happy.
