Howdy from hot, dry Texas! Today I'm bringing you a fiery card to match our weather!
When I saw this beautiful southwest themed die, I dove DEEP into my gel print box and found exactly what I was looking for - a bright, fiery print, and a cool violet print and got to work piecing this lovely design together. So easy and pretty. I decided to leave the center cross white, since that would touch both the orange and purple prints. It also helps highlight this delicate thanks die I finished the card with.

It's really been too hot to cook lately, so I don't have many culinary adventures to tell you about - instead I have been eating things like quick pickled sweet & sour cabbage, cucumbers with seasoned rice vinegar, cold peanut noodles and the like. I am contemplating making bourbon banana bread again though - it was so good last time I made it. I ended up making two loaves and splitting one between a few of my neighbors.
