Howdy friends! I created a card on one of my daily pandemic Facebook live sessions last week, and I thought I would share it with you!
I started with piece of cardstock that I used as a brayer cleaner during a Gel Press session - those often turn into really pretty backgrounds.
I stamped this gorgeous background stamp on it, and added highlights with a white Luminance pencil and a white gel pen. Then I die cut the "celebrate" out of it. In my usual style, I die cut it CROOKED. But it was easy to fix that with the card design itself! I just trimmed the background down a bit and then tilted it on the card front! I cut four or five extra sentiments and stacked them for an eclipse technique and then added these sequins.
You can see the raised portion better here.
Want to see something fun for the kiddos? I saw this at Creativation and the people demoing were so fun. It's a DIY Iron on system - so you use these special markers to create your design, and then you can transfer it to T-shirts, bags, even stuff like coffee cups. Super fun. AND, they gave me a coupon code for you and free shipping - FRIENDS10 will get you 10% off everything except the heat press if you shop here, with free shipping on orders over $75. I made a tumbler in their booth and it was really fun.
Hope you're not too stir crazy! Here are all the supplies I used today and ALL my coupon codes are below! Loveyameanitbye.

I always wondered what you did with the brayer cleaner pieces, I should have known you turned them into beautiful things.
