Food on airplanes is a good place to start with me, always. There are like four people out of the six billion on the planet who cannot go 24 hours without eating. So don't tell me you need a gross airport burrito the size of a car battery that everyone has to smell for your 90 minute flight to Kansas. You don't. You can eat in Kansas. They have food there. It's true. I read it on the internet.
But today, and I never thought I'd say this, I found something that is actually worse than food on airplanes.
I saw THIS. And yes, it's real. It's on Amazon.
I didn't see these flavors - I saw the MUSTARD flavor, on a news website, and I had to research these hate crimes in a bottle.
WHY is this a thing? Has anyone ever bought one? Or, God forbid, TRIED ONE?
And if you even think about bringing a ranch dressing soda on your next flight, I will hunt you down, and I will punish you.
It was so gross I could not resist sharing. You're welcome! You can learn more about Lester's Fixins here. Although why you'd want to is beyond me.
Anyway - I promised you a video on one of yesterday's cards, so I'm here to make good on that. So here you go. No mustard soda here. Just some good old fashioned stenciling. Enjoy!

Loveyameanitbye.
That is so kind of you to have something amazing after something horrid, lol.
ReplyDeleteOmg, this is too funny.
ReplyDeleteThank you for making me LOL at work while drinking coffee. And this has me all excited to go home and use my turnabout!
ReplyDeleteI had to laugh when I read this. You see, many Thanksgivings ago, someone in our family found a 6 pack of "Thanksgiving dinner" flavored sodas. In our food coma state, we thought we'd give it a go. Bad idea! They were gross at best and a niece even threw up with one of them. Never tried a soda flavor that shouldn't be a soda flavor again.....and never will.
ReplyDeleteOh golly I thought for sure the Thanksgiving sodas would be Jones Soda! They had Thanksgiving packs years ago, and from what I hear they were gross. Found a hilarious article about guys who tried a 7 year old Thanksgiving pack: https://www.themarysue.com/taste-test-jones-soda-thanksgiving-pack/ Love the turnabout stencils! That's not to say I use them, but I'm more inclined to try them with those cool brushes. Love how you outlined just one element.
ReplyDeleteOMG! This was so funny! I could not resist reading it to my daughter and Husband. They both enjoyed a good laugh! Sorry you were tortured on the plane. I'm still laughing! @ Annette - my family are known for trying weird things, especially soda.
