I have SUCH fun bright & happy winter cards for you today! There are a ton of fun new stamps and dies in today's post AND a video, so grab a cup of something and get ready for your eyes to be happy!
VENN DIAGRAMS STAMP SET! I'm dying. This is going to be so much fun. Plus the geometric stamps and dies are going to be amazing pattern makers - I can't wait to play more with them. But for today - I kept the focus on the diagram maker, because they are freaking geniuses. The inks used are Bubblegum Pink, Wild Dandelion and Sea Glass - look how beautifully they layer at the intersections. This set is SO me. I love you, Concord & 9th. I just love you.
Next, I took a piece I created in this video and used this fun double border die on it - it cuts the scallop and the snowflakes or you can cut them apart and use them individually. This is their free with purchase item for November! I used the snowflakes it cut on the background and added a sparkly noel from this bundle.
I also added some 1/8" circles of glitter paper too.
Don't be afraid of black on holiday cards - especially with bright, light colors, it can be so elegant!
Okay - back to the stenciling - ready for the video? Check out this fun and simple stagger technique for the first card. But first - go see the rest of today's release here if you want to hit the buy it all button, you can do that here for the whole release. I'm 100% positive these will go fast. So adorable. I'll be back with another C9 video later this week.
I love the final look of the stenciling! Now I need to get me some of those Life Changing Brushes; *sigh* more duties into Canada! LOL I'm going to have to start a group...
Every time you leave a comment, a new LOLcat is born. ALSO - don't panic if you don't see your comment right away - I moderate my comments to keep those spammers out, so your comment will show up in short order. Unless you're linking me to Russian brides or Nigerian princes.
What a cool technique. I never thought about using my stencils like that. Now I have to dig them out. Thanks for the inspiration.
