I'm firmly in the snaggletooth camp, and have always loved the quirky, too small pets no one else wants. In my opinion, they also make the best pets. They probably know they're different, and are happy to find homes with crazy people like me.
The freaking ADORABLE cat set from Nicole for Stamptember - when I first looked at this image - because I'm blind as a bat - I thought this kitty had a single snaggletooth on bottom, and it cracked me up! After I put my glasses on, I realized it's actually his tongue, but the idea of a snaggle tooth endeared him to me, and so that's what he will always be!
To make the background, I cut the Oak, Ash and Maple leaf die cuts out of watercolor paper, and glued them to another piece of watercolor paper, and then painted those with Magenta fluid acrylic paint. When that was dry, I dry brushed them with white acrylic paint. Then when that was dry, I rubbed them with gilding wax. I colored the kitty orange with Graphit Markers and used a Key Lime card base to provide a complementary to both the magenta and the orange, and stamped the sentiment from the set onto the card base. The shadow under the kitty I did with a charcoal pencil and then rubbed it to smudge it. What a cute kitty!

I tried an intriguing recipe last week and holy cow was it a hit! It's a very French feeling dish, with a dijon and wine sauce that was TO DIE FOR!! I changed a few things about this original recipe. First, obviously, I made it dairy free. Second, because I was making my Thai Peanut chicken that same day (meal prep day - I really try to only cook once a week), I already had chicken thighs, and so I used those. That changed the recipe and cooking time too much, so I am re-trying it today with breast tenders. I hate regular old chicken breasts. I'll let you know how that turns out. Oh my GOSH is this a five star recipe I can't wait to eat again. We had it with mashed potatoes.
