VIDEO: Butterfly Stencil Class + Paper Glaze Enhancer

This was a weird week. For like three days I've felt like it's Friday. Friday is our co-op delivery day so every day I've been trying to put our containers on the porch and then had to remind myself it's not Friday. I'm not the only one in this time warp, which makes me think time warps are environmental!

Anyway, I have some fun stuff for you today and a video!

First up - my Butterfly Stencil Workshop! I made these six cards with one fun technique I'll teach you in this online class. Well the next best thing is Paper Glaze Enhancer. It turns your shiny, shimmery Paper Glaze into a velvety, textured medium that mimics stone, brick, rust, etc. and I am enamored.

So if you already own Paper Glaze, this is a super fun additive you can mix with all of them to completely change the surface finish - I have a video for you below showing the differences! Here I mixed Marigold Orange, Brown Dahlia and Enhancer for these wonderful bricks with the slimline stencil. Then I used the splashy hibiscus background with Graphit markers (coupon code below) and the fancy sentiments + matching dies. 

They also have a super whimsical and sweet cover die this month - super easy to use over a pretty background.

Book worshipers - avert your eyes. I have a giant book on the history of comics I use on cards all the time. I chose a page about my favorite comic artist - Bill Watterson - the genius behind Calvin and Hobbes for my comic inspired card. First I stamped this fun filmstrip/comic image and colored it with graphit markers. Then I added this comic screen for the dots on top. The book page layers on the card base and the sentiment is from the same set.
