Autism Awareness Fundraiser

Hi friends!

I'm here today to tell you about the coolest fundraiser I'm taking part in on Friday!

I've been doing autism awareness posts for about six years - I do have a family member who is affected, so it's a subject that is near and dear to my heart - and I have many, many friends with autistic children, some of them my very closest friends. One of them has come up with what I think is SUCH a fun way to do a fundraiser - a card auction!

And I'm so honored to be asked to contribute a card to this auction. I am astonished to be included in the group she asked, so I can tell you there are some truly extraordinary cards up for auction. 

The way the auction will work is that people will bid on the cards, and then make a donation in that amount if they are the winner. When the winner sends a receipt for their donation, that artist will mail them the card they bid on! I can't wait to lovingly package mine up and send it off to someone - because I do love this card. 

I used this sweet puzzle background die - it's a fun die because each piece is just connected in the corner - so you can easily cut single pieces or whole sections away. So I cut away two rows to make room for this stunning paper - I'm so glad it's been revived - it's literally my fave paper since Basic Grey! Then I used this simple Love You die to add a sentiment, piecing the inner rings of the Os back in. I love all double cut alphabet style dies because there are so many possibilities for inlay, etc.
