If I Were a Stamp..

What would I be? This sassy, spotty, sleek giraffe maybe. Look how curvy and cute she is with her Rose Red Mane!!

She's new of course. She's got a story. As do her friends, the elephant, the owl and the whale - all DYING to be told from the Animal Stories set.

But one at a time, little ones. ;)

She's stamped in the new Crushed Curry - which is like an intensified and darker So Saffron. The DSP actually has So Saffron in it, so you can see how close they are.

I cut that little yellow giraffe out out and popped it up on another one that I stamped in Rose Red. I shaded the edges with my Creamy Caramel marker.

The new matching paper for this set is called Tall Tales and it's sooo cute!! Little creatures all over it!! I like this little tree pattern I used here too.

The greeting is from the new Autumn Harvest rub on set and the ribbon is new.

Tomorrow is club day, so I'll be cooking up all sorts of goodies for that. In the meantime, Happy Friday!!

Want to see something cool some real humans did in a train station all spur of the moment like? Wouldn't this make traveling fun?

I love humans. So much. If you don't see the video player, click on over to the blog.

  1. Fabulous card, Lydia!! That set is not my "cup of tea", but cards like this make me think twice!! Love how you shaded the giraffe, and all of the white space. Thanks for sharing!

  3. I love the card, especially since the giraffe doesn't seem "babyish". I searched forever trying to find something to use scrapbooking my son's zoo field trip. He's a kindergartner and the last thing we wanted was his first big school trip to have a baby look to it.

That video confirms my long held belief that we'd be much happier peoples if life was more like a musical!

  4. Love the card! I cannot wait for my new stuff to get here...I hope my new Mr. Brown understands what is about to happen to him...

I just love the video! My favorite part was watching the crowd as they started smiling and clapping along, it just goes to show how art, in all of its forms, makes us happier humans.

    Have a great day!

  5. wonderful, as usual. made me wish i'd gotten that set, instead of the circle circus. maybe you can show something with that to make me feel better. {smile} the DP is fabby!

i saw this vid awhile back and it's just a great testimony to the fun people really want to have, but don't, when they travel! if i promised something cool like this would happen in the ATL airport, would you come visit?

  6. OMG I love that video! It's so perfectly coreographed! I've never seen people doing that dance here in America - obviously very popular in that country.

  7. OMG! I actually got that video in an email yesterday! What a trip that it is so popular over there.

I love that card, I love that stamp set too! SU is going to have a really awesome catalog this time around! I can't wait to see the whole thing. I love the scallops and the ribbon, etc. I can't wait to see what you do with the other stamps in this set.
