An Open Letter...

To the employers, the husbands the children and the pets of America.

I apologize.

To the employers:

I'm sorry that roughly 21000 of your workers were on my blog instead of working on their real jobs. I'm sorry they used your bandwidth sharing my pictures with their stamping friends. I'm sorry they giggled uncontrollably and began saying things like winkos and unintelligible anti-spam words which only those of us in the know find amusing. I'm sorry that some of them screamed out "SHUT UUUUUUUUUUUP!" at regular intervals for three days. Please do not fire them. They need their jobs now more than ever, as there is roughly $3500 in stamps and accessories they NEED on January 19th.

To the husbands:

I'm sorry that the few clothes that are not dirty have not been folded or put away. I'm sorry you have eaten mustard and crackers for three days. Wait - no way did you find the mustard yourselves. What am I saying? I'm sorry you had to order pizza and feed the other living beings who were not surviving on Dove chocolate, wine, coffee or tic tacs in their stamp rooms. I'm sorry that you will really be needing to pick up some extra shifts to pay for all this stuff.

To the children:

I'm sorry you are dirty and your binky is under the couch. Your mommy is busy. It's really time you were potty trained anyway - all the other kids are going to laugh at you.

Life should resume for oh, exactly ten days. But after this, I bear no responsibility for their distractions.

I can say this for them - they are passionate and hilarious people. Their time has been well spent!!

A few more pics tonight. When I get home, I'll try to fill in some blanks for you. But these should really be pretty exciting peeks.

Here are the Decor Elements they gave us! The words and on the back - the big flowers - EEEKK!!!

HERE ARE THE TEENY BRIDE AND GROOM DIE CUTS THAT ARE PART OF THE FREAKING UNBELIEVABLE THREE TIER CAKE POP UP SIZZIX DIE OMG.

HERE IS THE POPUP CAKE OMG

HERE IS THE CAKE AGAIN OMG

HERE IS THE OTHER POPUP BEACHBALL DIE OMG
HERE IS THE MANHATTAN FLOWER EMBOSSING FOLDER OMG I MUST HAVE THIS OMG
HERE IT IS ON A CARD OMG
HERE'S WHAT THE EMBOSSING FOLDER LOOKS LIKE OMG
HERE IS THE ARGYLE TEXTURE MADE WITH THE AMAZING TEXTURZ PLATES WHICH ARE SO FREAKING ECONOMICAL - YOU GET SIX OF THEM FOR $9.95!! OMG. ON THE LEFT, DEEPER EMBOSSING WITH A SPECIAL PAD, ON THE RIGHT, THE REGULAR WAY OMG.
HERE'S WHAT THE TEXTURZ PLATE LOOKS LIKE OMG
HERE ARE SOME OTHERS OMG DID I SAY 6 FOR $9.95
HERE ARE THE FABBY EMBOSSLITS - CUT & EMBOSS ONE STEP OMG
HOLY COW - CLEAR ROLODEX DIE YOU CAN SEE WHERE YOU'RE CUTTING OMG
Now I was so peeing in my pants over the curly label die that I didn't take a picture but it's the coolest one of all.

Look at the rolodex one and image a large open space in a die - it's a full card size. Then imagine the curly label shape in a small die - actual size of the label. The big open die that cuts the card is magnetic, so wherever you want the curly label shape cut on your card, you just move it around inside the big die, put your paper on, run it through, and the opening is wherever you want in a totally custom card!!!

I hope no one is sitting near us at the restaurant tonight because there is going to be some squealing!!

Either later tonight or tomorrow, I'm going to announce my plan for giving away the paper sampler and some other goodies, so stay tuned!! There will be opportunities for my downline, customers, and other demonstrators!! hee hee - this is fun!!!

Oh - they let us buy the left over Make & Take kits today (during which I almost got trampled to death, seriously) and everyone who bought one got to take home THE INK PADS AND MARKERS WE USED IN THE MAKE & TAKES!! So I have 6 slightly used ink pads to come home with and one is Pacific Point Blue! Yay!!!

What a great company Stampin' Up! is. I wish you could all be here and experience what a warm, classy and fun environment they create. I'll share more later - but they wow me.

Winkos to all of you!! Kydia loves you!!

Have you signed up for the UBlue Cyber Club? Attended one of my Webinars?? Come on - get your geek on! :)

  1. OH wow!! I hope the drool doesn't ruin my keyboard! Thank you so, so much for your fab updates. My hubby will for sure be reading your letter, as I just sent the poor man off to Chicken Express to get dinner.

    Oh...a good word... "draties".

Oh draties...I spent all my money on gifts for Christmas and I don't have any for stamps!!

Ok, I'm actually going to use much stronger language than "draties" but it's all I got!

  2. OMG! I'm doing jazz hands as I fall off my chair!

Thank you so much for the most hi-larious posts--I pictured the bathroom sign in the car today & laughed out loud--but don't worry, but kids already think I'm crazy.

So glad I found your blog :)

  5. Ohh MMyyy Ggggoooddd!

I'm sorry to my dirty child whose binky is under the couch- you should really be potty trained anyway!?!?! I just peed my own damn pants!

The letter to our loved ones is ridiculaharious! Lucky for me, I'm on winter break, so my employer is none the wiser that I've been sitting on the computer for 3 days while my family suffers!

    Thank you for everything!

    JAZZ HANDS!!!!!!!!!!

  6. I'm sorry, I don't "get" the curly label die - is it the same size as the punch or is it big enough to layer under? Why would I need a punch and die cut that do the same thing - sell me on this one please - it will be good practice for your customers!

  7. I hope you are breathing. I have felt/lived your excitement and love it! I just received the "sweetest stem" embosslit. It works like a charm! I must have the texture plates and Manhattan flower. (I also got the level 3 hostess set with the hummingbird and the flower that looks like a mini stamp version of the Manhattan) So exciting!
Thanks for all of your updates. It has really been exciting!

  13. Oh. My. God.

I am so glad that the kiddo is finally sleeping and I was able to giggle softly instead of roar with laughter like I wanted to when I read your open letter to the husbands and kiddos. Thank goodness I brought mine up with SU, so she knows how to stamp with me and will take herself to the potty...ROFL!

You know, you better add an "I'm sorry" to my UPS man. He is so going to get molested when my catty comes, and my first order from the new catty comes, and the other new stuff comes...

The word for this entry is "dilist". Usage in a sentence: You should see how long dilist of stamps and stampin' accessories that I want is.

    Love you....JAZZ HANDS!!!

  20. You are TOOOOOOO funny! And I've enjoyed every single update you've given us. I am missing LT so darn much it hurts! OK, back to stalking the UPS guy with my catalogs. And how will I ever tell my DH about how much I intend to spend? Oh, that's right, I just won't tell him.

    ReplyDelete
  21. OMG. Now there is no excuse NOT to have the Big Shot. My husband is going to kill me...wait he's deployed. I can justify it. I mean, I can't get depressed right? And, and the new stuff I'll spend money on will fend of depression, right? Right? OMG. (*smile)
