Yay - a patriotic LSC today! I chose this girl from MFT that I've been DYING to ink up. I paper pieced her dress with some of the prints in Brilliant Blue from SU. I colored her with Copics - we're only allowed to use red, white, blue and shades of those.
I know EXACTLY who I'm going to send this to.
I just love this image.
Well, except her skinny hips - can somebody get this broad some pie?
She's making us look bad!!
Lydia!
ReplyDeleteHappy 4th!
I have been trying to catch up on some of your entries and I must say, you have been busy and your samples are AMAZING! Your comments always put a smile on my face. Those "silver" balls (i call them mini cannon balls) are called "non-pareils" I think!?

Hey Lydia,
ReplyDeleteYou need to feed that skinny-hipped girl a couple of your cupcakes...that will fix her "problem". The silver ball things are "dragees" and they are made from sugar, corn starch, gelatin, wheat meal flavors, and silver. Yep, real silver. As opposed to real mercury, which I guess would be bad...lol! Of course, I had a great 8th grade science teacher that would actually poor mercury on every student's desk and let us play with it "with our pencils only" while she taught us about it. Of course, now that would activate the Haz-Mat crew.
I hope they never find anything toxic in stamp pads or I am going to have to move my stamp area to an underground bunker.
Great cards...love your little coffee monster!
"Pour" even...man, I need a cup of afternoon coffee!!!
