I have not seen these in m...This moth is a beauty. I have not seen these in my 8 years living in TX, but I have had the pleasure of seeing "hummingbird" moths! They are truly awesome. Just like a hummingbird in the way that they hover, wings beating very quikly like a Hummer and the long pointed snout, or should I say fake beak. The first one I ever saw looked like a Zebra pattern! Black & white (like our challenge) and it was dusk. The other sightings I have had have been later at night and they were not as spectacularily marked, but with green on them! TFS your gr8 photo!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
