  • A weekly "Show Me Sunday" video chat (you can join by phone if you don't have a webcam) where we share projects on our desk and there's free question and answer time
  • A rewards program which includes a retreat for everyone in the group who promotes or recruits, as well as rewards for achieving other goals.
  • Online tools to make your business easier, like my link generator and other nifty tricks.
  • Live updates from Stampin' Up! events

  1. Love today's cards, especially the first one...stared at it for quite awhile just taking in the beauty of the colors. Really enjoyed the onion dip recipe and will be trying it soon. But I was curious...the 3rd ingredient calls for 1/2 teaspoon...should I use plastic or metal...ha-ha! (I figured you left out the word "salt", but I couldn't resist asking.) So love reading your blog. It just cracks me up! Have a good day and a great time at CHA!

  2. This looks very interesting. I was a rep for A Muse Studio, but didn't seem to get anywhere with them. I will think about this a little bit.

    1. I'd love to have you Lori - let me know if you have any questions. There's a great special right now and there are no strings attached - you can enjoy a discount for 6 months and see if it's right for you.

  3. Is this a sign up for Stampin Up or something?
I was thinking that it can't be because you speak of other companies tools and stamps along with SU stamps, when I was with SU you were NOT allowed to do that! Other Demos would rat you out if your did, which was one of the reasons I quit. I didn't like the fact that fellow demos would turn on each other. It has been a while now for me and maybe it has gotten better if your blog is any example of that.

  4. Yes Rosemary it is - I've been a demonstrator for 15 years. And yes, the demonstrator agreement has changed - for the better! :)

    1. Lydia, I left SU in 2011 when the IDA changed and the non-competitive clause was introduced. Can you tell me how it changed?

    2. Hey Laura! I almost did and am glad I didn't! They changed the agreement a lot - to allow for design teams, etc. If you want to email me I can send you more specific info!

  5. Lydia, I love your cards and on another SU site someone mentioned you, of course I lost the thread but found you again! I purchased the stand a bit ago but before I truly went through your Blog. I love it! I've been a demo for a little less than 2 years, I managed a Silver but that next bump isn't quite as easy and I truly want to get into the "special events" when I attend OnStage. Anyway, I didn't realize you were a SU Demo and I clicked on Join My Team! Sadly, I'm on a team already called Inkerbelles, maybe you know of them. I'm going to follow your Blog and enjoy your videos...and learn!
