My husband tried to talk me into going into the Kimberly's for their annual fishing trip. Just the thought that it took 7 hrs to drive 70 kms made me realise there was no resort at the end of their trek so I made it very clear that unless it was 5 star I wasnt coming. When I looked at the photos of fly covered in the day and mosie covered at night faces I was so glad I said no. <br />I would love to have been hiding with a camera ready to take a shot as that darling man wandered past in his Sunday best.Aileenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05065467158684916535noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6798914461149907138.post-956153471014897812014-05-10T17:37:29.436-05:002014-05-10T17:37:29.436-05:00As much fun as this tale is (and it's a doozy)...As much fun as this tale is (and it's a doozy), I disagree with the map of Texas you posted on FB yesterday. Houston was not in the Do Not Enter section of Texas. That map is WRONG. It's always good to have an extra story like this to hold over your spouse for the rest of your marriage. Under no circumstances would she ever go "camping" with him or on an outdoor adventure of his choosing. I am guessing too many "lake funk-like" experiences were seared in her brain from life with my dad before he went to Lake Funk in the sky. :)madameplushbottomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13666643880094304570noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6798914461149907138.post-12810466433657934002014-05-10T12:29:35.037-05:002014-05-10T12:29:35.037-05:00"kick him into Nova Scotia" - haha!"kick him into Nova Scotia" - haha!Lydia Fiedlerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03913680862479518524noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6798914461149907138.post-20576833550487328222014-05-10T12:28:06.768-05:002014-05-10T12:28:06.768-05:00My husband has done something similar to me. I don't remember the exact roach count, but I do remember how large his eyes got when I told him he's lucky that my Daddy was no longer living because he'd kick him into Nova Scotia.
